Trusses for Commercial Retail Construction
Mike Grant of Grant Construction contracted with Oregon Truss to supply the design and trusses for this hybrid commercial retail and multi-family residential project called "The Edelweiss Building" in Mount Angel, Oregon. Some of his comments are quoted below.
This building has a working "glockenspiel" clock with little elves that come out and dance around when the click strikes certain times of day.
This building has commercial retail space on the ground floor, and multi-family residential on the upper floors. The dormered balcony areas on the roof made this a particularly complicated design.
